'Western' people get a watch, Africans get the time
The people in West Africa, among them alive and being with my beloved Bakary gave me the freedom of time to know.
Bakary I met on holiday in Gambia. After a journey of discovery with him through various parts of Gambia and Senegal, I bought a piece of land in Abene, an artistic village in the Casamance. The Casamance is located in southern Senegal. The site is one acre and has an encore in the backyard a good deal authentic jungle. The large house is among several palm trees, a variety of flowers. Bakary was able to tell me that a number of trees by local people for medicinal purposes is used.
The annexe has four basic rooms and in addition we have African round houses built with a little more comfort (such as private toilet and shower).
Both Senegal guesthouse Diabatalo have something for everyone to offer a solid introduction will not be disappointed.
You learn to know a nation that excels in kindness, hospitality and zest for enthusiasts and there is time for the abundance of sun and beach to enjoy.
Our Diabataloteam consists Mieke, Bakary, Dot, Yaya, Ishmael and Mai.
